On 3 February, the ACJC community turned up in droves and in style to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit. Pictures painted a thousand words – it has got to be one of the most glamorous party for ACJC & the Moonee Valley Racing Club.

Thanks to the ambassador of this year’s event, leading fashion designer Viceta Wang who is the first Chinese lady designer having her own runway show at the 2022 Melbourne Fashion Week. The fashion show and the fashion competition Viceta sponsored just lifted and set a very high standard for the night.

In addition to the major sponsors of the event – Ladbrokes and Alinta Energy, we welcome our new sponsor, Kohle Capital who generously sponsored Jamie Pi, our race caller in Mandarin. Kohle Capital is due to launch their investment advisory service in Australia very soon.

Lunar New Year will not be proper without Lion Dance – as in previous years, it was Paul Carrazzo of Carrazzo Consulting who brought us this highly anticipated performance.

The event was a sold out shortly after seats were released – thanks to the continued support of our members and corporate friends in Racing Victoria, Bank of Melbourne, Musk Creek Farm, IM, Rifa Mustang, Tile Importer, Executive Wealth Circle, Hong Kong Australia Business Association, Viceta Wang, Netbay and Dalton Consulting Engineers.

我們非常感謝今年農曆新年形像大使，著名時裝設計師Viceta Wang 的支持。Viceta 是2022年墨爾本時裝週上能擁有自己的時裝秀的唯一華裔設計師。 當晚Viceta 的時裝秀和時裝比賽讓整個活動生息不少。
